This is the top three AoS lists for the Warhammer Open Dallas that took place in the US on the 25th and 26th of May 2025. It saw 69 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament.

Luis Mendoza: Great result on Leo’s list! The couple Big Dragon and Vanguard chamber is still showing a high performance. This list is based on Sentinels of the Bleak Citadels battle formation, to increase durability on Ruination chamber units by using 5+ ward; the list is 2 drops trying to get a high possibility to decide who starts, and with the benefit of covering Lores – Spell, Prayer and Manifestation – available for SCE.
As Warmaster, Krondys is the General, a durable wizard level 2 with +2 bonus in casting rolls, special damage against infantry units and that unlocks any SCE to be included in his regiment, in charge of the Manifestations summoning and with its own spell that offers a good range of applications, – oh, also is the most expensive unit in the faction -. The supporting hero is Knight Relictor, a priest level 1, with his peculiar ability to substract 1 from ward rolls in an enemy unit with a 2+ roll in a D6, owning the enhacements Mirrorshield + Envoy of the Heavens, his survivability increases and in this way can contribute in defensive game adding a 5+ ward to a unit in the roster if a friendly unit was slained in previous turn.
In the section of infantry units we can find to the Prosecutors, a reinforced unit that is able to charge any target 9″ away – the most part of time -, usually being set up by the Stormreach Portal after counting with all the available boosts to increase their reliability – Finest hour, 5+ Ward, Bless Weapons and Special Assignment -, this units has been one of the favorites since they were redesigned. The Longstrikes are completing the killer duo, supporting with an elite ranged profile attack. In the Cavalry section, but still in Vanguard chamber we can find the Javelins also as a constant threat. Since Longstrikes and Javelins belong to the same chamber can be selected – only 1 unit per army in a turn – to run and shoot / charge. Javelins shoot twice in the same turn if their charge is sucessful, something valuable to reduce numbers or resistance in the target, if is buffed in the same way as Prosecutors will become in a good hammer. Vigilors are contributing to offensive game, with his ability to improve hit rolls in +1, if they created damage in the target unit, all the melee attacks leaded to the same targets get the modifyier.
The list is being completed by Morbid Conjuration to create more damage on the opponent units and have an extra screen layer.
