THR (The Hobby Room) Annihilation too place in Stockport, UK on 26th and 27th April. It involved 24 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5 game tournament.

Ritichie played five games over the two days, winning four and drawing another. Along the way he beat Ogor Mawtribes/Bloodgullet in round 1, drew against Seraphon/Thunder Lizard in round 2, then beat Seraphon/Thunder Lizard in round 3, Nighthaunt/Reikenor’s Condemned in round 4 and Maggotkin of Nurgle/Befouling Host in Round 5.

3rd Paul Bowden – Seraphon

Paul managed three wins, a draw and a loss over the two days. Along the way he beat Big Waagh! in round 1, drew against 1st placed Ritchie and his Fyreslayers/Lofnir list, before losing against Nigthhaunt/Reikenor’s Condemned in round 3. He then dusted himself off and went on to beat Ogor Mawtribes/Bloodgullet in round 4 and Maggotkin on Nurgle/Befouling Host in round 5.

Wildcard: Hugh Wilson – Seraphon

I’ve never picked a Seraphon list as the wildcard, but in this case I had to! Count them up, three Dread Saurians! Hugh finished 20th and claimed one victory with this completely of meta list over the two days, well done! His path saw him lose against Fyreslayers/Greyfyrd in round 1, beat Big Waagh! in round 2, then went on to lose against Stormcast Eternals/Hallowed Knights in round 3, Stormcast Eternals/Hammers of Sigmar in round 4 and Stormcast Eternals/Hammers of Sigmar in round 5. The poor chap played three Stormcast Armies! Well done for going off the meta and being willing to break the mould!
