Hot News – Book Reviews Archive – Updated

Here at Woehammer, we are always looking at how to improve and with my recent return to writing Book Reviews for the website I thought it was high-time that I updated how the Book Review Archive page works.

When I started my reviews back in 2022, I didn’t really have an idea what I was doing in terms of the website and Peter and I had just started to write articles and add pages… so I used hyperlinks in lists.

Well, that’s all changed and after lots of work (honestly, it took ages) I have updated the links to be assigned to pictures of the covers.

This is an example of the Age of Sigmar section with links!

We also care about accessibility, so each of the pictures also has alternative text if that is how you prefer to read and view the website!

I hope this is useful for those who follow the book reviews – let us know what you’re reading and what your favourite book is. I may even read it and put a review on here!

Book Review … of the Year!

As this Friday is Christmas Eve my book review is just a simple look back at the ones already on the blog, if you’ll forgive the review format.

I’ve had a varied reading selection this year, some of which I managed to put some thoughts onto paper for the blog. Here they all are in case you missed any.

Warhammer 30k / Horus Heresy:

Warhammer 40k:

Age of Sigmar:

I will read anything with Gitz in, and whilst Gloomspite was a disappointment, Gitslayer had some good Gitz characterisation and description in it.

Non-Warhammer:

And I even managed to get some non-Warhammer reading in

What releases are you looking forward to in 2022? For me it’s the new Sharpe book as it’s sort of Warhammer… and reading through some of the short story collections I’ve picked up.
