This is the top three AoS lists for the Realmshift Series 2026 – Chapter 2 that took place in the US between the 15th and 16th of August 2026. It saw 112 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament. Players had to have two lists and play each list at least once. The idea was to allow players more agency and the ability to change tactics on the fly each round.

Roland Rivera: Nashcon may be a 2-list format, but Mike decided to not mess with success – the only difference between his lists is what Hero is carrying the enhancements, which is mostly window dressing.
The list itself, however, is a thing of beauty. I have long felt that Nurgle is at its best when it eschews the fancy Hero Monsters and just goes all-in on covering the board with durable infantry bodies, and this list proves that is indeed the case. Pestigors, Rotswords, Pox-Wretches, and Plaguebearers flood the board with bodies that are hard to kill, and are supported by a capable suite of cheap Heroes. Belga gives the list access to the prayer lore and can boost the casters, Foulhoof gives the Pestigors more punch, the Lord of Plagues makes approaching Rotswords a daunting prospect, the Rotbringer Sorcerer is a cheap Wizard that has some handy anti-Ward tech, and the Poxbringer makes Plaguebearer offense more relevant. The list is rounded out with a bit of speed and strikes-last tech in the Sloven Knights.
The tactics chosen play to the army’s strengths. Blazing Onslaught’s “deal damage in 3 phases” requirement is something this list can very reliably meet, and while getting to the enemy hideout might take a while, the amount of bodies this list has at its disposal means it is very likely to be able to control it once it does get there. Siege of Ashes is a great tactic card for this army, as it rewards you for pushing durable bodies forward and onto objectives, which was already this army’s gameplan.
Overall, the combination of wound density, board presence, and ability to complete tactics makes it a challenge to beat, and I am not surprised that none of Mike’s opponents managed to do so. Full infantry Nurgle isn’t always the most popular army option, but as this result demonstrates, it is among the most potent ones.
