As a teenager I played Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omens to excess. I always wanted a tabletop version of the army to play with as well.
Now that I’m in my forties, I can finally realise that dream.

I’ve stepped away from the video game units this week as I had an attic find of some of Golgfag’s Maneaters. These are the Dogs of War version that were released in the late 90s. I have all five though I can’t currently find Golgfag’s left arm….
I thought as my army was a mercenary company, it would make perfects sense for Golgfag and his buddies to be included. I may include some other Dogs of War as I find them. The eager eyed among you will have seen that Vannheim’s 75th are actually Voland’s Venators.
To tie it in with the other units so far, I’ve once again had to crack out my old editing skills and worked on Canva to make the unit card look the same as the others.
I’ve also been going through the process of turning all my entries into proper unit cards now. Here’s the back.
I’ve already printed out some of the other units that I’m using in our Battle March slow grow campaign.
