As a teenager I played Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omens to excess. I always wanted a tabletop version of the army to play with as well.
Now that I’m in my forties, I can finally realise that dream.

This week we have one of the two units you start with in Shadow of the Horned Rat, the Grudgebringer Infantry.
I think I took the infantry in almost every battle of the campaign. To represent them on the tabletop I used the 3D models called Reinhardt’s Infantry.
To represent them in the game I’ll be running them as Veteran Sellswords from the Renegade Crowns muster list.
At some point I plan to print out their unit cards with their special rules on the reverse. It’ll make it easier than having to flip through the many, many books….
