As a teenager I played Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omens to excess. I always wanted a tabletop version of the army to play with as well.
Now that I’m in my forties, I can finally realise that dream.

Last week we had Morgan Bernhardt. It would be daft if I didn’t then show you his cavalry.
The Grudgebringer Cavalry were an auto take in every battle and were the most powerful unit in Shadow of the Horned Rat, especially as you neared the end of the campaign.
To represent them in the game I’ll be running them as Freeblade Knights from the Renegade Crowns muster list.
At some point I plan to print out their unit cards with their special rules on the reverse. It’ll make it easier than having to flip through the many, many books….
