This is the top three AoS lists for March of the Reguments that took place in the UK on the 16th and 17th of March. It saw 16 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament.

Samuel Kimbley: I’ve been fooling around with cabalists since Andtor dropped, because… Wizards. The list is all hammer and willing to make trade-offs. Ogroids are amazing, especially after they got a 10 point drop, making them 150 points for 15 wounds. I’ve now got 18 of them, so it’s a shame we’ve got a new edition coming. Because they’re such a threat, people focus on them, so I use them as screens more often than not. And then people make mistakes trying to deal with them, while forgetting they’re screening a unit of chosen, that you pump up and dump on the enemy, and chosen will table you.
Chosen are MVP. I managed a double into kroak bomb, had them at +3 charge and made a 14 I think, wrapped my opponents castle with chosen and used the double fight, my opponent was left with a slaan in his t3. They do so much work. They just can’t kill stormcast dragons, apparently.
I always set up for a round 1 or 2 surround and destroy. And then had magical dominance or lust for power set up, too. The list can complete a lot of the tactics, and I played it on the fly honestly after t2. The grand strat was poor. I knew it was, and GS has been a struggle for me all season. I should just run Spellcasting Savant, because I’d be more likely to get it even on the killer kark.
The list is surprisingly fast, everything slaanesh is at +2 charge base. So you can throw something 20″ ish fairly easily. And by the bottom of 2, everything is usually in range without run and charge anyway. I try to position for a double turn because on the double, I can usually end games. Especially from Battleround 2 into 3. I’m relatively happy to grind it out, which I think is reflected in the scores.
