Some time ago, I spent a considerable amount of time playing with impcat. For those who don’t know Impcat allows you to digitally paint models to test colour schemes for projects.
As such I ended up recreating and creating tonnes of Space Marine liveries for both cannon chapters and non-cannon chapters. This process eventually allowed me to create my own home brew Space Marine Chapter the Void Dragons.
But, I thought rather than deleting all that hard work or just leaving it on Pinterest where it won’t be used, why not share them with you. That way, you can view the colour schemes I’ve already made and pick one for your own Chapter should you wish….. Enjoy!

While at the community you’ll also find the citadel colours in Excel format which you’ll also need
I know this is a long shot, but do you know which colors you used in this one (especially the dark blue/green)? I cannot find the exact paint.

I do!!! The dark green was actually Dark Reaper while the grey/white was either Administratum or Rakarth Flesh.

This is awesome. Really appreciate all your work. If it’s possible, would you mind doing one similar to the marine in the middle of row 4, with two color changes? Again, if it’s not inconvenient, I’d like to see the teal swapped for green (similar to the Salamanders), and the grey swapped for white. If it’s not possible, no worries, and thanks again.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful. I’ve done the scheme you requested and added it to the top above the gallery. The green I used on the app (bear in mind there may be some slight colour variation between RL and the App) is Vulkan Green base highlighted with Loren Forest and a Nuln Shade. You may want to add some extra layers etc if you decide to go with this.
Do you have a list of each chapter I am new to 40k and I would like to learn some background of the choices I use.

There are a thousand chapters, we’ve never compiled a list but I normally use as a starting point. is another good source for information and basic colour information. After that searches on specific chapters is a good way to see how others have painted that chapter.
