Mike Mercurio: Thought you could get away without paying your tithe? Well the Bonereapers remember the deal, and Nagash always gets his due.
With the original book release Ossiarch Bonereapers leaned heavily into the high mobility Kavalos Deathriders as a means of scoring and damage in a single package. Well, this GHB did that archetype few favors and the army fell off hard in the power rankings and win rates. With the updates from the last battlescroll both reducing points across the board and removing the additional cost to using Relentless Discipline on Reinforced Units, the Bonereapers have plenty of tools to collect some unpaid taxes.
The list runs the strong but simple Remorseless Conquerors, offering all OBR a guaranteed 4 on all run abilities. This pairs well with Mortis Reapers, who can be used to bait opposing hammers out of position and redeploy into range of a terrain feature before teleporting away. Guaranteeing their safety, and bringing enemy units into range of the 40 Triaxes. Once past the Reapers now you need to contend with the rest of the bonereaper phalanx, anchored by the block of Immortis Guard. Between turning off weapon abilities, getting free Rend reduction from their Mortek Guard allies once per phase, and the redistributed Rally points from Banner of Old Ossia can keep them topped up. Coupled with the Scourge of Aqshy ability Perpetually Empowered Weapons which means they now natively gain Crit 2 Hits (and crit on 5’s with a spell). So not only can this unit take a punch, it can deal out punishment to any transgressors.
All of this is in addition to the previous OBR tricks, such as the Liege Mortek chain fighting shooting units or the ever popular Imperious Will to add additional chip damage to every combat activations of non-charging OBR units.
The list shows that with the recent changes, OBR has pulled itself upright, and is poised to be a strong contender this season. For Death is patient, and always wins out in the end.

Erich: Allen Johns forsook the Shadow Queen to bring a whole pile of snakes to the table with his Daughters of Khaine. This is a growing trend as support pieces become more expensive and the meta shifts to reward players who bring enough units to go wide on objectives. Allen has the usual toolset, with a pair of wizards to access the excellent DoK spell lore and a Priest to do the same for their prayers, not to mention a Witchbrew for some added resilience. The real key to this list, though, is its wound density, with 160 high-threat wounds hitting the table. The majority of those wounds are concentrated in triple Blood Sisters, a well-worn staple at this point that absolutely thrives with a few Blood Rites activated and takes buffs exceptionally well. The most interesting additions Allen has made are a unit of Blood Stalkers, a Gladiatrix, and Doomfire Warlocks. Starting with the Blood Stalkers, they can put pressure on opponents early while denying key charges through shooting or covering fire. Their 31 shots, with a threat range of 26”, can clear out screens for the hammers and help control the board. More interesting, though, are the Doomfire Warlocks. They offer great mobility and wound density for their cost. At just 10 points more than a Bloodwrack Medusa, they bring twice as many wounds. They are easy to overlook as they approach Legends, but they provide great utility and can push forward alongside the snakes to keep the buffs going. The Gladiatrix feels a bit like a filler hero, able to push forward as an Anointed to pass off its rend buff while also providing easy access to a Blood Rite. Along the way, it can grab a Place of Power as well. One final interesting piece of tech is the Bloodwrack Medusa with Honoured Among Sects, gaining a +1 to cast while also amping up its other statistics. Overall, this is a really interesting and technical list that trades the Shadow Queen’s power-piece role for broad board presence and plenty of flexibility to apply pressure across the entire table. Well done, Allen. I think we all might be grabbing 10 more snakes.

Fittsy: First up, congrats to Viktor on the 3rd place with KO! We’ve got at its core a pretty standard KO list with some interesting choices to focus on today. First up is reinforced Thunderers… We do see Thunderers sometimes but they are the rarest choice across all the non hero units (I didn’t check the stats but I’m pretty sure that’s right unless no one is taking Harpoons now that Salvagers are so cheap).

Reinforced Thunderers I find interesting because they can fill a couple of roles. Their ability to remove wards and drop control sounds great until you realise that it can be hard to get the damage needed reinforcing them helps though to make this work. Plus, with that 3+ save and 2 wounds sitting in a minus 1 to hit bubble, they take quite some effort to remove. The problem is they effectively replace Arkanauts who are a pretty efficient unit. Thunderers shooting damage is pretty similar but they don’t get the chance to shoot when charged.
An omission worth noting, with the buffed Skywardens and 2 units of Salvagers, is that Brokk isn’t present. We’ve seen him in a lot of lists like this one but taking him requires dropping the Admiral and something else from the list. Brokk brings a lot of value but he is a bit of a points sink. The Admiral instead to buff the Ironclad makes sense here with the Thunderers stripping wards too
We’ve got an exciting artefact choice here too. The Ejector Rig lets you teleport with that Endrinmaster to wholly within 3″ of a boat or the terrain. This has some interesting play to get him out of trouble if he’s caught in the charge. It can also let you send the Frigate off away from the Clad but still have the option to teleport over to it. The secret sauce here is the command trait Bold as Brass giving 5+ to control allowing the Endrinmaster to teleport over to an objective and drop control 7 onto it. Staying out of 9 from the enemy can make it a bit tricky but it’s a cool artefact.
Two units of Salvagers without the 6+ ward on an objective for Vongrim faction might seem odd but they’re simply very efficient at what they do and that’s why you see them as a staple in many lists at the moment.
Congrats again to Viktor on the great result!

Raymond Lane (A Skaven Plays): Stat checks for everyone. Nothing like being presented 3 bad options on what to attack into, reinforced plaguebeares, reinforced rotswords, or a glottkin with a strike last body guard. That is what this list is offering. They have given up on a lot of the tech side of Nurgle including any priest in favor of pure stat check and meat on the table. No one wants to charge into rotswords for the hitback, no one wants to charge into a strike last glottkin, and no one wants to waste time on -1 to hit and wound plaguebearers. Takes one of the best parts of Nurgle and stretches it to a very tight and very eleite list.
Creed help out with blazing along with rotigus and glottkin spell and the knights are in a good position to help with siege battle tactic. Pretty straight forward walk up take the center of the map and lay out the welcome mat kind of list
