Alberto Gaggero: Stormcast haven’t been doing so great in Scourge of Ghyran, but they’ve had a resurgence as of late. So, let’s take a look at this great Stormcast list that managed to bring home the whole GAF Jamboree event by going unbeaten through 5 rounds!
The list is undeniably centered around Ruination chamber units, and specifically Prosecutors. They are one of the most formidable Stormcast units right now, able to accrue buffs like no other unit can in lieu of their very reliable 3d6 charge when they teleport 9” away (about 97% probability of a 9” charge with a reroll!). This list packs 12 of them, and supports them very well, allowing them to act as, basically, heat seeking missiles that will rid you of your problems.
The list builds around the Prosecutors by including many support heroes. Iridan, the star of the show, is key for giving +1 rend to Ruination units with their prayer while not being half bad in a fight and allowing your units to more easily shrug off enemy abilities. Gardus Steelsoul can, once per game, give the Prosecutors +1 to charge and, most importantly, +1 attack, making them even more deadly. The Lord-Relictor is there to have reliable Bless Weapons, a +1 attack prayer, and packs the Beacon of Azyr to automatically chant a prayer, importantly allowing him to automatically use Translocate in the opponent’s turn. Then, lastly, there is the Lord-Vigilant, who is a decent fighter and brings a very powerful ability to the table, a once per game double activation for a Ruination unit.
Usually, the double activation entails that the second one is done at the Strike-last step of combat, but the Stormcoven are there to help with that. They can use their warscroll spell to give the Prosecutors Strike-first for the turn, making them strike first and then fight normally when they’re made to fight twice.

Gutrippaz (160)
Regiment 2
Swampcalla Shaman with Pot-grot (120)
Flying Ryan: In a Post-Battle Scroll world where the points changes left many Kruleboyz players feeling the pinch of the points increase we have nicely varied list brought out by Martin Mckenzie bringing Beast-Skewers in support of his Monsta-Killaz.
Still, with a multitude of Gutrippaz on the table, there is a high wound density and damage output across the army, all the while not bringing half a dozen units of Monsta-Killaz. Despite this, there is still great amount of anti-monster tech in the army, especially with the beast skewers applying damage to really ensure that the Killaz can get those strikes-last abilities to land, unless they themselves just concentrate fire to bring down some “big ‘uns.”
Interestingly in the list we have 2 Shaman, one of which is rocking the 10 point Eye Pebble, presumably this is the more daring of the two Shaman who is in close proximity to the fighting, handing out the ward save when its time, getting those prime buffs off and closing range for the Kruleboyz woefully short range spells. On a Go Turn, with Venom Encrusted Weapons, +1 to save from the Swampcalla’s Ability and stacking that with their Potions and Elixirs to make the Reinforced Kruleboyz hit like an absolute truck, and, with that stacked armor save, -1 to hit from Skareshields AND the 5+ ward save they have the staying power to keep them in the fight for a long time.
The Second Wizard and the breaker-boss are also solid picks. The non-reinforced unit of Gutrippaz provides excellent ablative wounds and some damage output to the already hard-hitting melee character and the Swampcalla as a backup for casting endless spells and handing out those buffs.
Overall it is a fantastic looking list which obviously has a huge amount of damage potential, synergy across several units and a fairly unique playstyle for the current meta of Kruleboyz and showcases how, with the backdrop of the dirty tricks, the army can still be used in more than 1 way.
