This is the top three AoS lists for the Adepticon Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Championship 2026 that took place in the US between the 26th and 27th of March 2026. It saw 179 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament. Given the size of the event we’ve included all the undefeated and 2 bonus lists as well.

Luis Mendoza: The list is based on good positioning and surgical attacks, along with several mechanics to drastically reduce the effectiveness of your opponent’s essential charges and prevent them from using command abilities.
The battle formation allows us to improve the Rend of non-Kurnothi infantry units that have charged—including heroes. In this area, Warsong Revenant supports both offensive and defensive play with his well-known ability to grant a 6+ ward and reduce the opponent’s by -1. The improvements it has are Acorn of the Ages to automatically establish a Wyldwood (once per battle) and Radiant Spirit to ignore magic effects on friendly units within 12″, with a 3+ roll. Branchwych also contributes to the defensive game with its Fury of the Forest ability. Drycha, in its SoG profile, is a danger to enemy units with high Toughness in the offensive game, considering it benefits from extra Rend if it has charged. In terms of collective offense, it increases the damage that Spiteriders can inflict. Defensively, it selects an enemy unit within 18″ during the Combat phase to reduce its charge by D3 or to have its attacks reduced by -1, and any unit attacking it gains +1 to hit. Usually, the decision is not difficult; however, it becomes complex because there are 6 units from The Twistweald that add an additional D3 penalty to the charge, which statistically is -4″ to the charge—a disruptive factor. Any strategy – In case of a successful charge, two reinforced Spite Revenants will attempt to prevent the use of command abilities, while the Tree-Revenants unit supports board presence.
Excellent synergy. Congratulations, Gavin!

Shawn Freed: This is THE list. If you haven’t heard about it yet, or don’t understand how it works, I’ll quickly break it down. All the terrorgheist variants come with 3 maw attacks at damage D3+3 and 6 claw attacks at damage 2. Both have crit mortals. Claws go up by one attack for every champion, banner, and musician in the target unit, to a maximum of 10. Now we have 5 of these monsters (1 hero and 4 unridden). It’s a lot of damage potential already, but lets keep adding buffs.
Revered Monstrosity = +1 to hit for companion attacks within 12”
Delusion on the terrogheist hero = +1 attack for companion weapons within 12” of a hero
Battle Formation = unmodified 9+ charges give you strike first.
Add in the Aetherwrought machineries to use the cogs to reroll charges.
But what about speed and mobility? Don’t worry, we got you there too. The other two monsters are zombie dragons (1 hero and 1 unridden). Hero grants run and charge for your monsters within 12” and a delusion that gives +2 to charges. The unridden zombie dragon can both teleport and reposition 2D6 while in combat. And with the little herald in the throne, when the zombie dragon lands it immediately move D6.
The list is extremely fast and has potential to put out massive amounts of mortal wounds. It’s very hard for a lot of lists to deal with, requiring you to have screens and the ability to project high damage. You need to be able to kill 2 terrorgheists a turn to keep up.
This list did go up by 90 points from the new battlescroll, with most of it being the enhancements and hero monsters. That means they either need to cut the herald or cut a terrorgheist. I assume it’ll be the herald and terrain feature…
