This is the top three AoS lists for Pizza Brawl Spring Edition that took place in Sweden on the 5th and 6th of April 2025. It saw 17 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament.

Keegan Graves: So this lists game plan is very simple. It buffs up the stormfiends, parks em on the objectives, and says”just try and kill me”. The stormfiends get a massive spike in durability and damage from the army buffs, and the master moulders are there to heal off the self damage on the stormfiends. The hell pit likely picks up prized beast and then is sent off as a lone operative that can fend for himself. He will win a fight against anything small, and if he gets charged by a big scary unit, he can use the strike first rampage to get damage out before he dies. Thanquol is also a great support piece, his spell blocks commands, which sends the stormfiends damage through the roof since they have rend 2, and the opponent won’t be able to all out defense. Overall, this list is designed to brawl well and shrug off tons of damage.

Roland Rivera: Nurgle meatgrinder lists have been a force in the metagame ever since the Field Sergeant Honour Guard ability gave them the movement speed they needed to occupy their desired positions, and this list is the latest example. Bloab Rotspawned and 10 Putrid Blightkings form a wall that most armies in the game will struggle to shift, and The Glottkin is a powerful all-around piece that features durability, as much damage as Nurgle is allowed to have, and a nifty way to maximize the value of your countercharge.
A major reason why Blightkings backed by Bloab are such a hard wall to beat are their combination of strong defensive stats (3+ save, 5+ Ward, 15 health per block of 5) and defensive debuffs (Bloab has a -1 to hit bubble, and can cast a spell to make enemy units -1 to wound the Blightkings). If by some chance you happened to crack that mighty wall, Plague Cyst will punish you for it, as every Blightking that gets downed will spit back an average of 1 mortal damage. That may not sound like much, but given just how hard it is to take them down, the combination of disease mortals, their attacks, and the Plague Cyst mortals can really grind most armies into the dirt.
A non-standard addition to this sort of list is Gutrot Spume and a unit of Rotmire Creed. This combination lets you get the Rotmire Creed into position early, and use their shooting to spread disease at range. This sort of extra utility is very handy in a list that is this strong up the middle, and does a lot to round things out. Overall, this list balances powerful staples with interesting tech, and has a strong result to show for it.
