Every year I make a list of goals I’d like to achieve, and every year I fail! Not this year! This year it’s going to be different, I’m intending to set myself some achievable goals, but goals that can still be achieved even if something shiny comes along mid-year!

There’s a number of projects that I’ve either got ongoing or have signed myself up for in the new year that have formed the backbone of this list. Firstly, I’ve signed myself up for a 2nd Edition Warhammer 40,000 slow grow to make a 1500 point list. This shouldn’t be too hard as the points back then were much more per unit than they are now (think 300 points for a tactical squad), and barring one or two possible purchases I have the majority of what I need to make a list here.

We’ve our narrative event at Battlefield Hobbies in March which I need to prep for and will probably take up the first couple of months of the year.

Next, I’ve got our ongoing Silver Bayonet campaign with Ian and Dave which I need to get cracking with. But there’s not too much to do here to keep the campaign ticking over.

As well as this, I’ve some small projects that I’d like to see finished before the end of 2025. Things like finishing the Cities of Sigmar Spearhead and the Roman Division I have for Warlord Games’ Epic Scale Hail Ceasar. Plus finishing off my Warmaster Dwarfs.

I’m sure as the year progresses something will happen to make me completely overhaul this list or at least add to it!
