Regiments of Renown

One-eyed Grunnock (410)

Warstomper Mega-Gargant

Roland Rivera: This list is peak Timmy gaming – play a bunch of monsters, make them go fast, smash everything in your path. Fortunately for enjoyers of this style of gaming, Ironjawz has access to a good monster selection, and they can also dip into Regiments of Renown for even more big things to put on the table.

This particular list is centered around Kragnos. His ability to project an aura of 3D6″ charges enhances this list in a big way by expanding its threat range. The units looking to take advantage of this boost are Gordrakk and the Megaboss on Maw-krusha, which are potent anti-Hero and infantry tools, respectively. The Warstomper Mega-Gargant mercenary One-Eyed Grunnock offers more anti-infantry juice, and also is a durable piece that can hold ground in the midboard in ways the rest of your team would rather not do (and also makes tactics like Attuned to Ghyran significantly more viable). A Weirdnob and his bunker of Ardboys helps round things out by giving you access to Ironjawz’s excellent manifestation lore.

Despite my assertion that this list is peak Timmy gaming, playing it to the level required to podium a tournament (as this one did) actually requires a bit of cleverness. Your major advantage is being able to reach out and touch enemies that can’t necessarily do the same to you, you have specialist pieces that want to be directed into specific types of enemy units, and you have to try and keep your big guys from getting mobbed whenever possible. Measure out your average charge ranges and play your units to their particular strengths, and this list will serve you well.
