Battle Formation

We’re seeing a lot more internal balance as when compared to other factions. Kavalos Lance (allow 3 Ossiarch Bonereapers Cavalry units to move an additional 6″ in the deployment phase) and Mortisan Council (add 1 to the casting rolls for friendly Ossiarch Bonereapers Infantry Wizards) are the most popular choices.

Artefacts

The Helm of Tyranny is the most popular choice, forcing opponents to subtract 2 from their control scores if within 12″ of the bearer.

Heroic Traits

The Aura of Sterility is the stand-out choice here, as the enemy has to subtract 1 from wound rolls that target Ossiarch Bonereapers units wholly within 12″ of the bearer.

Manifestations

For once Morbid Conjuration is not the popular choice but the Horrors of the Necropolis, the Bonereapers own is.

Warscrolls

The warscrolls are overall nicely balanced, though Katakros, Mortisan Soulmason and Teratic Cohort is a little high.

Performance v Other Factions

Bonereapers are balanced against the two most popular factions of Stormcast Eternals and Slaves to Darkness and don’t appear to have any factions they particularly struggle against.
