My aim this year is to make Woehammer advert free! But to do so, I need to push the Patreon and get it covering our outgoings! Sorry, this is a blatant and unapologetic plea for your support!
With that in mind, I’m going to make a few small changes. None of which will have a negative impact on our current patrons.
The cost to run Woehammer through WordPress and all the fees associated with it and the plugins we use, now runs at roughly £500 per year. Which thanks to you all, the Patreon income now covers! However, what I need to do is start paying our writers a decent amount for their work. My aim is to pay the writers £20 per article as a base. Which means an outlay of £620 per month as a minimum if we’re to post one article per day. Added to this we have various subscriptions for the website which we use on an almost daily basis, such as Best Coast Pairings, Canva etc. This all adds up in the long term.
So how am I going to reach this goal?! Firstly, we’re keeping the current tiers on Patreon – but we are going to make some small adjustments to what the Patreon access is.
Once Woehammer reaches £670 a month through Patreon, all adverts will be turned off on the website and we’ll be fully funded without the need for advertisements!
All Tiers
All tiers of Patreon supporters will benefit from the following:
- Access to the wildcard list on all top 3 lists. (Yes, we will be making each wildcard list private to Patreons and WordPress subscribers only)
- Access to a private Patreon chat on the Discord server
- Exclusive viewing of articles at least 1 day before they’re published on www.woehammer.com
Woehammer Boss (£5 per month)
This is the currently the top level of access on Patreon and will benefit from the following additional features:
A set of Woehammer Dice after 12 months of being a Woehammer Boss. Thereafter you will receive a new set of dice every 12 months.
- All of the features mentioned for all tiers.
- Access to the Discord Sensai Chat, here you can see all our work in progress on articles and private chat between the leading AoS players.
- You’ll be able to contribute to articles if you wish and can take part in group articles such as ‘Chat with the Champs’
