Finishing off our Destruction factions today with Gloomspite Gitz, currently the best performing of the Destruction factions.
Battle Formation

Squigalanche and Troggherd are by far and away the most popular of the battle formations available to them. The Troggherd (Heal a Troggoth unit D3 each time it resolves a Fight ability) is far more balanced externally however with the other factions.
Adding 1 to the Attacks characteristic of Squig units which use their Fang-filled Gob, Massive Fang-filled Gobs or Huge Fang-filled Gobs for using Squigalanche is just too strong at the moment.
Artefacts

The Clammy Cowl is by far the most popular artefact choice (subtract 1 from Hot rolls that target the bearer.) But to be fair the Gitz don’t have great options in the way of artefacts.
Heroic Traits

Loontouched (makes a unit a Wizard (1) if not already or adding 1 to the casting rolls), is by far the most popular, possibly because it allows Gloomspite Gitz to cast the manifestations with more reliability.
Manifestations

And moving on to manifestations, it’s clear to see that Morbid Conjuration is once again one of the most popular choices, along with the Krondspine Incarnate.
Warscrolls

Tying in with Troggherd and Squigalanche, we can see that Squig and Troggoth units are the more popular choices. Strangely, with other Destruction factions, we’ve seen Kragnos have a positive impact on the win rates, the opposite seems to be the case with Gloomspite Gitz.
Performance v Other Factions

Gloomspite Gitz perform well against Stormcast Eternals, and hold their own against the Slaves to Darkness, the two most popular armies.

As always, you’ll probably (and quite rightly) disagree with me on a lot of these points. Why not let us know I’m the comments below what you think to the Gloomspite Gitz.
